Message from the Membership Chair Greetings from sunny Southern California! My name is Jackie Jones; I'm the Director of Medical Staff Services at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Diego and your new CAMSS Membership Chair. I have been here in San Diego for over ten years and active in both the San Diego CAMSS chapter as well as the state CAMSS, on various committees and lately as the Webmaster for the CAMSS website. I am very excited to be appointed as the new Membership Chair. I am a strong believer in networking with our CAMSS associates, in fact, that is how I landed my job here at Kaiser was from a contact I met at my very first CAMSS Meeting! As Membership Chair, I will maintain a current membership roster so that there is always an accurate listing of members. The benefits of a CAMSS membership are vast and include reduced registration fees for the annual education Forum; access to the "Members Only" section of the CAMSS website; access to the CAMSSPublishingHouse, where your CAMSS membership will allow you access to numerous free downloads; and a myriad of networking opportunities with your fellow Medical Staff Services Professionals. As Membership Chair, I will also have the opportunity to interact with all the CAMSS constituents. I am eager to get to know each and every one of you. The annual CAMSS Education Forum is a wonderful event where I had the opportunity to meet many of you in person. I am already eagerly anticipating next year's forum to be held here in San Diego! There is no time like the present, so please send in your membership application now. For your convenience, membership fees may be submitted via check or by utilizing PayPal. If you work with someone who's not a member, please let them know all the added benefits of joining CAMSS. I look forward to hearing from you.
