PROGRAM CONTENT/EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
- How to work within your organization to recognize, prevent and prepare for active shooter and workplace violence incidents with an emphasis on emergency action plan development
- Fundamental concepts and key elements of support for successful incident management and planning
- History of active shooter events
- Behavioral indications for persons on a pathway to violence
- Communication protocols
- Plans for responding to active shooters or workplace violence and recovering from an active shooter event
- Compliance and participation in emergency planning
