Located just off the Highway 101 corridor, approximately 55 miles north of San Francisco, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 278-bed acute care hospital providing a wide range of specialty services. The hospital is home to the region's Level II Trauma Center serving the entire Coastal Valleys area, including Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake counties, as well as coastal Marin County.
We are currently looking for a Full-time Credentialing Assistant to join our Medical Staff Services team.
Job Summary:
The Credentialing Assistant provides a broad range of administrative support for the Area Director and other staff within the Medical Staff Services department for the St Joseph Health hospitals in Sonoma and Napa counties. The Credentialing Assistant exercises independent judgment and discretion, makes decisions and takes action based on the knowledge and scope of this regional position. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the department’s policies and procedures and staff files. Position focuses primarily on data management and/or medical staff department and organization activities.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative/support capacity.
- Experience in an Executive level office environment preferred.
- Medical Staff Services experience a strong plus.
