As Director, Centralized Credentialing, you will coordinate and integrate medical staff credentialing across Scripps Health system. Be responsible for physician credentialing and re-credentialing system-wide for 3,400 physicians.  You will oversee and be responsible for managing CS team and functions. Additionally, you will develop and implement operational efficiencies for credentialing.

This is a full time leadership position located in San Diego.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years’ experience in medical staff administration/managed care operations, three of which in a leadership role.
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of hospital systems, medical staff administration, managed care operations, credentialing, healthcare law, accrediting/survey compliance, database administration and proven leadership.

Required Certification/Registration:

  • CPMSM.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Master's degree.
  • CPCS.
  • Working experience in MSOW.
