GENERAL PURPOSE:
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Francis Medical Center. It is expected that the associate holding this position will demonstrate behaviors consistent with our core values and will comply with all required standards governing our commitment to Compassionate Care, Exemplary Service and serving our patients. The associate holding this position will support St. Francis Medical Center's strategic plan and all essential elements of Quality Improvement and Financial Stewardship.

MAJOR JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates all facets of medical staff department and committee meetings, may assist in credentialing new applicants and reappointments. Provides outstanding customer service to members of the medical staff. Interacts with other key departments throughout the Medical Center, including Medical Records, Quality, etc. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification: College education preferred, High School graduate required
CPCS or CPMSM Preferred, but not required
Institutional Review Board experience a plus
