Providence is calling a Credentialing Specialist - MSO ( Full Time / Day Shift ) at Facey location in Mission Hills, CA.

In this position you will:

• Under general supervision, performs complex administrative assignments of a highly responsible and confidential nature.
• Participates in/performs the credentialing and recredentialing processes for Facey Medical Group and Foundation providers to ensure credentialing/recredentialing projects are completed in a timely manner and meet the standards set forth in the Credentialing Policies and Procedures and NCQA compliance.
• Provides administrative support to the Medical Staff Department, President/CEO of Facey Medical Group, and Chairmen of Clinical Departments, Peer Review Committee, and Compensation Committee.
• Promotes provider confidentiality and supports the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Qualifications/Required qualifications for this position include:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience required in medical staff/provider services project management and administrative support.
• Must possess computer skills in database management, practice management systems, spreadsheets, graphics, and word processing (Microsoft applications preferred).
• Strong customer service, written communications skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Equivalent education or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Business Administration.
