In this key role, you will support a variety of medical staff organization activities in our high volume, goal-driven environment. You will serve as the point of contact with department management, medical staff and hospital leadership to ensure compliance and efficiency for membership and privileges throughout a provider’s tenure with UCLA Health, Advanced Health Professionals and CVO-contracted facilities. This will involve managing medical committees, maintaining the privileging process and auditing functions related to facility bylaws, rules and regulations, credentialing policy and procedures, and other applicable accreditation/payor standards. You will work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues in the Medical Staff Office, clinical service coordinators, and other staff to facilitate continuous process improvement. You will also implement policy and procedures utilizing PolicyStat, provide training and orientation, and support efforts to sustain best practices.

Qualifications
We’re seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
- One or more years of credentialing experience for a healthcare facility, medical group, or health insurance environment
- Background with online application module of credentialing software a plus
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
